Indian Goddesses are associated with the ancient Sanskrit word for “power” (shakti). Each Goddess personifies a specific energy which seekers can invoke for their personal development. Hence the “Faces of Power” series.

This session explores a key personifications of Power from ancient India’s Goddess traditions: Kali. It interweaves religious, philosophical and narrative strands to elucidate this Goddesses role as an archetypal force. You will come to know her rich symbolisms with an eye to the role she might play in your own life journey.
